Video taken by Rory Brown shows the Saturday morning service move on stop between Finchley Road and West Hampstead stations, in north London, with the automatic doors apart. London Underground said the train was immediately taken out of service on arrival at West Hampstead and that the incident was being investigated. Mr Brown said there were “at least 10 different doors along one side” left like it in a post shared alongside the 14-second clip on Twitter. He wrote “new way to keep tubes cool in the summer - leaving the doors open” . He described the situation as “sketchy” and added “#whatishealthandsafety? ” to his post. A TfL spokesman responded to the panicked tweet and said: “We were made aware of this yesterday and the train was taken out of service and currently under investigation so thanks for letting us know. “Sorry for any inconvenience caused and hope your journey was okay.” Nigel Holness, network operations director for London Underground, said: “ The safety of our customers and staff is our top priority. On Saturday at around 9am we were alerted to some of the doors on a Jubilee train remaining open for one stop between Finchley Road and West Hampstead. “The train was immediately taken out of service at West Hampstead and a full investigation is underway to understand how this occurred.” The Evening Standard has contacted TfL for further comment.
